CrockPot wanted to strengthen relationships with existing owners, who often made a single purchase and never returned. Standard email recipe blasts felt inauthentic and weren’t driving loyalty, repeat engagement, or upsell opportunities.

I led user research by interviewing CrockPot owners and testing multiple e‑commerce journeys to uncover how people search for inspiration and make cooking decisions. Using these insights, we built a content‑rich recipe and inspiration platform that transformed CrockPot from a simple product into a creative kitchen partner—helping users discover meals by ingredients, time, skill level, and dietary needs.
